Earlier, at the Vietnam - China Forum on Higher Education Cooperation, Science, Technology and Innovation held at Tsinghua University, a total of 52 cooperation agreements were signed between higher education institutions from both countries.

Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son noted that these are not merely numbers, but concrete commitments reflecting potential, trust and expectations for future cooperation in training high-quality human resources, scientific research and innovation.

He added that Vietnam and China share many similarities in culture, history and development orientation, and both place strong emphasis on education, science, technology and talent. These commonalities provide a solid foundation for becoming strategic partners in building a regional knowledge and innovation ecosystem.

“The convergence of development needs between the two education systems creates significant room to elevate cooperation to a new phase - one that is more substantive, deeper and co-creates value,” Minister Hoang Minh Son emphasized.
