The biggest talking point of the tournament was once again Hoang Misaki, widely regarded by Vietnamese fans as a dancesport prodigy. The 13-year-old not only captured the Asian championship title but also won the WDSF Open Solo Female Junior II Latin event at the Vietnam Dancesport Festival 2026, reinforcing her remarkable consistency and ability to outperform international rivals.

Born in 2013 in Tokyo, Japan, Hoang Misaki currently lives and studies in Hanoi. She began training in dancesport at the age of five and quickly displayed exceptional natural ability along with a deep passion for the sport.

Her musicality, technical skills, stage presence and physical attributes have enabled her to stand out consistently at both domestic and international competitions. Those achievements have earned her the nickname "Vietnam's dancesport prodigy" among the country's dancesport community.

Since 2023, Hoang Misaki has pursued dancesport as a professional athlete, undertaking structured training under internationally accredited adjudicator Chu Quynh Trang. Since then, she has continued to refine her technical abilities while building a competitive foundation that meets international standards. The young star regularly trains with some of the world's leading coaches and competes in major international tournaments.
