Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh

At a regular Cabinet meeting on March 3, the Ministry of Health was also assigned to assess accurately the pandemic situation and the herd immunity nationwide, the local media reported.

The prime minister said ministries, agencies and localities must keep a close watch on the regional and global situations to give directions within their jurisdiction.

They must continue employing effective anti-pandemic measures.

PM Chinh also ordered the establishment of a special working group to resolve all domestic issues arising due to the Russia-Ukraine crisis led by Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh.

He required stabilizing the macroeconomy, putting inflation under control and flexibly regulating monetary and financial policies and other policies.

Some tax and fee policies should be studied to reduce the input costs and improve the local fuel production. Deputy PM Le Van Thanh will give directions on this issue.

The fight against corruption, especially in the anti-Covid fight and the pricing of materials and fuels, must be strengthened.

Furthermore, the public investment disbursement will be boosted. The ministries, agencies and localities failing to distribute the allocated capital this month will see the capital revised down.
