The recently concluded Pickleball tournament in Da Nang has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records for having the highest number of live spectators in the world, with over 7,900 attendees.

The international Pickleball tournament, PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025, wrapped up with notable success, especially in terms of scale and audience appeal.

With more than 7,900 spectators attending in person, the event shattered the previous world record for the largest live audience at a Pickleball match, previously held in the United States.

The tournament, co-organized by FPT Play, featured nearly 600 professional and amateur athletes from both Vietnam and around the world, including global Pickleball stars such as Ben Johns, Tyson McGuffin, and Kaitlyn Christian.

With a total prize pool of $150,000 and a competition format meeting international standards, the event positioned Vietnam as a rising star on the global Pickleball map.

In the final match, Phuc Huynh delivered an exceptional performance, defeating Truong Vinh Hien 2-0 (11-1, 11-5) in just 18 minutes to claim the championship title.
