For the first time, Vietnamese audiences will have access to one of boxing’s most high-profile and entertainment-driven formats: Zuffa Boxing. The exclusive broadcast rights, spanning three consecutive seasons from 2026 to 2028, have been secured by FPT Play-bringing the UFC-inspired boxing series to screens across Vietnam.
The debut event, Zuffa Boxing 1, takes place on January 24. Vietnamese fans can tune in to six action-packed fights-three Prelims and three Main Card bouts-broadcast live and exclusively on all FPT Play platforms.
Zuffa Boxing is the latest venture under TKO Group Holdings, the parent company behind both the UFC and WWE. Designed to reinvent modern boxing, the league follows a format that echoes the promotional spectacle and organizational structure of MMA-where every event is a major showcase and every bout is built as a headline act.
The tournament quickly gained international attention in late 2025 with a super middleweight superfight between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford. Since then, Zuffa Boxing has been positioned as a premium global boxing series, offering only 2 to 4 carefully curated events each year.
This deliberate pacing, combined with elite matchmaking and cinematic production, sets it apart from the saturated fight calendars of traditional boxing. Every Zuffa Boxing event is treated as a standalone spectacle-something not just to watch, but to experience.
For Vietnam, the arrival of Zuffa Boxing is more than a new form of sports content. It’s a signal that the country’s sports broadcasting market is entering a more competitive and global phase, where international standards in both production and audience engagement are increasingly expected.
FPT Play, which previously introduced leading MMA events to Vietnamese screens, continues to lead the way in this space. With the addition of Zuffa Boxing, the platform adds a new dimension to its sports portfolio-one where combat sports meet entertainment innovation.
Whether you're a casual viewer or a seasoned boxing fan, Zuffa Boxing promises something different: not just fights, but narratives; not just athletes, but stars.
