Vietnam is deeply concerned about and strongly protests against the June 26 terrorist attacks in France, Tunisia and Kuwait, which have claimed the lives of several dozen people and injured hundreds of others, stated Pham Thu Hang, Deputy Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry.

“These are savage and inhumane actions targeting innocent civilians,” Hang said in reply to reporters’ questions on June 27.

“We share the irreparable losses and heartbreak with the Governments, peoples and families of victims,” she stated, stressing that Vietnam believes that instigators must bear the responsibility for their actions and receive strict punishment.

Condolences to Kuwait over terrorist bombing

President Truong Tan Sang on June 28 sent a message of condolence to Kuwai’s emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah over the great loss of life caused by the terrorist attack at the Al-Imam Al-Sadiq mosque in Kuwait City.

The June 26 suicide bombing killed 26 and injuring 227 people.

The Government of Kuwait held one-day national mourning for the victims on June 27.
