Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, Lieut. Gen. Vo Van Tuan, assured Deputy Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie of Cambodia Phuong Siphin at a reception in Hanoi on October 6. 

The cooperation between the two countries' armies has been increasingly consolidated and comprehensively developed over years, the host said. 

He hailed the coordination outcomes between Vietnamese agencies and the Royal Gendarmerie of Cambodia, especially in training and experience exchanges. 

This has helped enhance the bilateral combat capacity and propel the defence ties forward, he added.
