VietNamNet Bridge – The Viet Nam national football team will convene on March 20 in Ha Noi to prepare for the qualifying round of the Asian Cup 2019.

To warm up for the event, Viet Nam will play a friendly match with Chinese Taipei at Hang Day Stadium on March 22.

As scheduled, Viet Nam will compete with Afghanistan in the opening match of Group C at a neutral stadium — Republican Central Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajiskistan — on March 28.

The stadium currently holds 24,000. It is the home ground of the Tajikistan national football team — Istiqlol Dushanbe — and formerly of CSKA Pomir Dushanbe.

The final match of AFC Cup 2015 was held in this stadium between hosts Istiqlol Dushanbe and Johor Darul Ta’zim of Malaysia.
