Poland is willing to cooperate with Vietnam in professional education and teaching training programs, with a focus on digital transformation and the green economy, said Keijo Norvanto, the ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Vietnam.

Accordingly, Poland’s professional training programs will offer students orientation and opportunities to put what they study into practice. After graduation, students can obtain higher professional qualifications or additional specialized professional degrees. Besides, they can also be admitted to the university education level if eligible.

The two countries are also interested in investing in the workforce for a green economy and using environmentally-friendly production technology. Therefore, Vietnamese laborers now have the opportunity to study and work in Poland, especially in the agriculture and healthcare sectors.

In mid-October, Vietnam also executed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate with Singapore in professional education.

According to the MOU, the two countries will boost the cooperation and enhancement of leadership capacity in professional education and develop teachers’ and training officers’ capacities.

Three national centers on qualified professional training and practice based on the Singaporean Institute of Technical Education model will be built in the North, Central and South of Vietnam. This is part of the infrastructure development plan between the two countries, which aims to develop a qualified workforce for Vietnam’s socioeconomic development.

These cooperation activities will strongly support the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training in executing the professional education development strategy for 2021-2030, with a vision toward 2045.
