VietNamNet Bridge – The local version of Mr. International pageant for men will be held in Vietnam in December 2010.

Mister International 2008 Ngo Tien Doan

The pageant, named Mister Vietnam, will open for men from 18 to 26 years old, who are at least 1.75m tall.

Held by VTV9 channel and Bac Dau Entertainment, the pageant aims to honor the smart and masculine beauty of Vietnamese men.

The organizing board began receiving registration as of November 12. After the qualifier round, 30 contestants will participate in sub-competitions like Mister Charm, Mister Sports, Mister Talent, Mister Environment, etc.

The winter will receive bonus worth 750 million dong (over $35,000) and will represent Vietnam at Mister International 2011 in the Philippines.

The jury board will include former Vietnam Vice President Truong My Hoa, historian Duong Trung Quoc, Doctor of Athropometry Tham Hoang Diep, Editor of Young Fashion Magazine Hoang Dai Thanh, Mister International 2008 Ngo Tien Doan, movie star Truong Ngoc Anh and fashion designer Do Manh Cuong.

The final night will take place in Vung Tau city and will be aired live on VTV9 at 8pm, January 1 2011.
