VietNamNet Bridge – Up to three beauty pageants will be held in Vietnam this year, according to the latest information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Miss Sea 2016 will be held on Tuan Chau Island, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province from March 1 to May 25 to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women associated with the images of the sea and islands of the country.

The Miss Vietnam Global 2016 will be held for the first time in Vietnam from May 1 to July 10 in the provinces of Vinh Phuc, Binh Dinh and Thanh Hoa. The pageant will gather Vietnamese beauties from different countries, continents ... to honor the moral, intellectual and aesthetic beauty of Vietnamese women worldwide.

The Miss Vietnam 2016 is scheduled from July 7 to August 25 in Hanoi and HCM City. The competition will find the face representing the beauty of Vietnamese women.

The winners of these pageants will have the opportunity to participate in international beauty contests such as Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss Universe.

It is said that Miss Vietnam Dang Thu Thao may represent Vietnam at the Miss World 2016 while Miss Vietnam 2014 Ky Duyen and the runner-up Huyen My will also compete at an international beauty contest this year.

Dang Thu Thao has refused to take part in the Miss World twice.
