VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnam’s national football team will face Brazilian famous club Gremio in a friendly match in the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa on November 15.

Gremio is also guest to the BTV Cup in the southern province of Binh Duong from November 16-25, which will involve the country’s U23 team.
Head coach Phan Thanh Hung said this strong opponent will greatly help his footballers improve their skills and tactics.
After the match, the team plans to play another friendly before arriving in Thailand for the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup in late November.
The national squad has gathered in Hanoi as of October 29 in preparation for another friendly against Malaysia on November 3.
Some of its key players, including captain Minh Duc, winger Tan Tai and midfielder Nguyen Sa will not attend the training due to their injuries but top striker Cong Vinh will be present.
Head coach Hung said he has not yet decided to field the trio in the coming match against Malaysia. It is more likely that they will be reserved for the AFF Cup.
