Cloud Computing and Digital Platform will be the new space that will grow faster than traditional telecommunications. The most important infrastructure of digital infrastructure is Cloud Computing. The Cloud Computing market will have higher growth rate and will surpass telecom revenue.

Telecommunications will switch to digital infrastructure, but it is a must to clean up telecommunications rubbish in 2022, he said. The fact that mobile network operators have handled garbage SIMs will create new space.

The Minister also stated that Vietnam will officially deploy 6G. Vietnam is one of the first 10 countries in the world to have a 6G Steering Committee. Vietnam must go with the world's leading countries in in 6G technology. The frequency will be licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications possibly in 2028 before the commercialization of 6G.

Vietnam’s telecommunication industry needs a second innovation after 30 years. Telecommunications infrastructure becomes digital infrastructure. This renovation will take the innovative spirit of the first period, and infrastructure must be first. Telecommunications and digital infrastructure must be in the leading group of countries in the world, entering the top 30 by 2025. The quality of the network must be equivalent to that of developed countries.
