The 17th General Assembly of the East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF 17) opened in Vietnam’s Quang Ninh province on October 25, bringing together various tourism managers and operators from countries across the region.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will develop tourism into a spearhead by 2030, creating impetus to boost the growth of other industries, and making significant contributions to shaping a modern economy.
Tourism is likely to become Vietnam’s new growth pillar, increasing its contribution to the service sector and overall GDP.
