The General Statistics Office reports that this time last year, 57,000 local people took the chance to travel around their homeland - an increase of almost 50 percent on the year before.  

Still, some travel firms are saying that this year may be even bigger, and the hot months of April and May lend themselves to beach getaways, so it’s no surprise that southerners choose to succumb to the seaside when choosing a place to spend their days-off.
