Under pressure from the Thai counter attack, Vietnam’s defence held strong.
The first chance to break the deadlock fell to Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan but her shot was over the crossbar.

After that, Thailand went on to dominate the first half. Goalie Nguyen Thi Loan needed to be at her best to keep the scores level.

After the break Thailand kept up the pressure but couldn’t do enough to find the back of the net.

Vietnam are in third place in the event with one win, one draw and one loss.
