The most talked-about deal ahead of the 2026 season involves Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, born in 2002, who has officially signed with newly promoted Hanoi Volleyball Club.
Though financial terms were not disclosed, sources confirm that this contract secures the highest salary ever recorded for a Vietnamese female volleyball player.
Previously, Nhu Quynh spent several years playing for Quang Ninh, before joining Cong Thuong Bank on loan.
Her move to Hanoi offers a fresh opportunity to compete for national titles, as the capital’s team makes a bold entry into the top division with clear championship ambitions.

Shortly after, Hanoi completed another high-profile signing: libero Nguyen Khanh Dang, widely regarded as one of the top defensive players in the country.
Khanh Dang is expected to be a vital component in Hanoi’s strategy to compete for the championship this year.
After a decade-long tenure with VTV Binh Dien Long An, Khanh Dang penned an emotional farewell to her former club, writing: “Thank you sincerely to the club and its leadership for trusting and supporting me throughout my career. I wish the team continued success in the future.”
And Hanoi isn’t finished yet. In the coming days, the club is expected to unveil additional high-profile signings, including Le Thanh Thuy and 2 to 3 other national team players.
This marks the most aggressive investment and expansion Hanoi has ever undertaken in volleyball.
Elsewhere in the transfer market, Luu Thi Hue, a teammate of star spiker Bich Tuyen, has parted ways with Ninh Binh Women’s Club. She is widely expected to join Thanh Hoa.
