Vietnam win both Junior Davis Cup/Junior Fed Cup matches on second day

Vietnam continued winning at the Junior Davis Cup/Junior Fed Cup Asia-Oceania Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Tuesday.

In the Junior Davis Cup, Vietnam won 3-0 over Guam. Truong Vinh Hien and Nguyen Quang Vinh met no difficulty beating Dakota Sam Alexander Gibson and Aarman Singh Sachdev, respectively, with the same score of 6-0, 6-0 in the singles.

Hien and Pham Hoang Hieu later defeated Gibson and Sachdev 6-1, 6-1 in the doubles match.

In the Junior Fed Cup, Sophia Huynh Tran Ngoc Nhi and Nguyen Minh Thuy Hang won 6-1, 6-1 over Isha Shree Shah and Rayana Shah of Nepal, respectively, in the single matches.

Nhi and Ho Thi Truc Tam trounced Shah and Rayana Shah 6-1, 6-1 in the doubles match later.

After two days of competition, the Vietnamese squads topped their tables with two wins.

The men will next play the Philippines while the women will face Singapore. VNS
