Viet Nam lost to Thailand 8-21, 18-21 in the semi-final of the women's doubles to take the bronze medal.

In the volleyball event, Viet Nam's women will face Thailand in the final, while the men's team will meet Myanmar in the semi-final this afternoon.

This will be a difficult challenge for Viet Nam who want to win the gold medal in the women's final.

"The Thai rivals are very strong. They are better than us in terms of experience, skills and tactics. The physical strength of Vietnamese players is not good because of playing several matches," Coach Thai Thanh Tung said.
