VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnam’s national taekwondo team bagged seven medals at the 11th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships that concluded on Sunday in Chinese Taipei.

The team won three silver and four bronze medals at this year’s tournament.

The tournament attracts 1,274 martial artists from 59 countries and territories, competing in 28 categories.

The silvers went to Pham Quoc Viet in the boys’ singles U17, Tran Ho Duy and Chau Ngoc Tuyet Sang in the boys’ doubles U17, and Chau Tuyet Van - Nguyen Thi Le Kim - Nguyen Thien Phung - Le Thanh Trung - Hua Van Huy in the boy’s team event.

The bronze medals went to Nguyen Thi Mong Quynh in the girls’ singles; Chau Ngoc Tuyet Sang - Le Ngoc Han - Nguyen Thanh Hien Linh in the girls’ team U14; Le Tran Kim Uyen - Nguyen Phan Khanh Han - Nguyen Ngoc Minh Hy - Tran Dang Khoa in boy’s team U17; and Nguyen Dinh Khoi in the boys’ singles over 17.

Hosts Chinese Taipei won the tournament with 25 gold medals.
