Ly Nha Ky has been selected to be one of the two sponsors for the Cinefondation festival de Cannes and her name has made presence in the website of the Cinefondation.

Cinefondation was established by Pierre Viot and Gilles Jacob who are former presidents of Cannes festival, aiming to seek new talents for the world movies and support the new generations of filmmakers.

Each year, the organisation selected between 15 and 20 short films out of thousands of films submitted by film schools from all over the world.

The three Cinefondation prizes will be awarded at a ceremony preceding the screening of the prize-winning films in the Buñuel Theatre on May 20.  

Ly Nha Ky expressed hope that being the sponsor of the Cinefondation will help her introduce works of Vietnamese film makers to the world.

This May, Ly Nha Ky will arrive in France to attend the Cannes Film Festival.
