Aerobic artist Vu Ba Dong.

The victim is aerobic artist Vu Ba Dong. Dong won the highest mark but referees announced the  Thai artist - Phairach Thottchancha – as the gold medalist.

Dong’s coach Vu Thi Tuyet Oanh said that marks of athletes were made public on electric boards during the competition.

“Dong performed firstly, earning 20.250 points while Thailand’s Phairach Thottchancha scored only 19.8 points. His mark was detected by two points due to some mistakes. The referees changed the results,” said Oanh.

The Vietnamese aerobic team did not accept the results and it has lodged a complaint to referees.

Similarly, Vietnamese aerobic pair Ba Dong and Thu Ha nearly lost their gold medal at the SEA Games 24 if the Vietnamese team did not complain.
