VietNamNet Bridge – Ambassador Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh presented her credentials to Joachim Gauck, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, at Bellevue Palace on July 11.

The Ambassador conveyed the Vietnamese President’s best wishes to the German President and people.

She also confirmed that she would do her utmost to further enhance the relations of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Germany.

The two sides expressed keen interest in implementing the strategic plan of action attached to the Hanoi common statement on strategic partnership for future cooperation in the fields of politics, trade and investment, law, environmental protection, science and technology, culture, communications and social affairs.

The German President spoke highly of the Vietnamese community in Germany and the German House project in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh is the first female Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany.
