VietNamNet Bridge – Thuy Vy Victoria, a Vietnamese-origin girl in the US, has been chosen as Vietnamese contestant at the Miss World 2011 in London this November.

Pham Dinh Thang, vice chief of the Performing Art Agency, which is in charge of licensing Vietnamese girls to participate in international beauty contests, says that Thuy Vy has been licensed.

Thuy Vy, 21, (1.71m, 47kg, 83-60-88), is the second runner-up of the Miss Vietnam World 2010, and Miss Asia USA of California (USA).

At the Miss Vietnam World 2010, Thuy Vy was praised for her modern, dynamic beauty, sweet smile and sporty and sexy body. She also won the Miss Sports title.

Perfect English and good education are also Thuy Vy’s advantages. She is a student of the Berkeley University.

The Miss World 2011 pageant will have around 120 contestants, the highest number so far. The final night is scheduled on November 6.
