Each of the 100 episodes lasts three minutes.

In February 2023, China National Radio and Television Administration issued a document allowing HuHuo Shanghai Media and Culture to cooperate with Sconnect Vietnam to distribute the animated film. And now the broadcast of the cartoon on TV has been officially accepted.

Before appearing on Chinese TV, Wolfoo was distributed on over 40 VOD (video on demand), OTT (over the top media service) and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) platforms in China, including Huawei, Wechat, Tencent Video, iQiYi,  SkyWorth, Youku and Kidslearn.

Since 2015, censorship is required for all foreign made programs broadcast in China, which means that all foreign-made programs that want to air their products in the country must register with state management agencies and undergo a very strict censorship process to be sure that the content of the program is in accordance with Chinese standards.

Wolfoo is an animated film first distributed by Sconnect in the US in 2018. The film has quickly won the hearts of children all over the world. To date, 3,700 episodes in 20 languages have been released and broadcast on social networks and OTT/IPTV in many countries.

Wolfoo has over 100 million viewers regularly watching over 3 billion views each month. The audiences are mostly in the US, Europe, China and India.

The fact that a Make in Vietnam animated film can enter the Chinese market marks a milestone in the development of Vietnam’s cartoon production industry and the content creation industry.

Brie Yan, global marketing director from Leadjoy, the strategic partner of Sconnect in the Chinese market, said Chinese children love Wolfoo.

Not only Wolfoo, other Sconnect’s famous animated films Max’s Puppy Dog, Fairy Tales, Lego, Doll Crafts and Tiny Claymixer are distributed by Leadjoy on nearly 40 Chinese VOD, OTT and IPTV platforms.

As an animated film with combined content between education and entertainment for children aged 3-8, it provides stories about the life of Wolfoo and its family and friends. The content is designed to satisfy 12 standards for comprehensive development for young children.

After succeeding with Wolfoo 2D, Sconnect is developing high-quality 3D Wolfoo products, including cartoons and music. It is expanding cooperation with partners to develop franchised products and high-end entertainment complexes.
