VietNamNet Bridge - Traditional ao dai designed by Le Thanh Phuong was exhibited at the Museum of Natural History (U.S.) on January 26.

Vietnamese ao dai to be displayed at America’s largest museum

Recently, Le Thanh Phuong was invited to New York to participate in the Eastern cultural festival at the Museum of Natural History. Phuong’s ao dai were performed at the festival, drawing the attention of overseas Vietnamese and American people.

Phuong’s designs were performed by overseas Vietnamese girls or Vietnamese students in the US.

Le Thanh Phuong brought conical hats and lotus flowers from Vietnam as props for the show.

On this occasion, he was interviewed by the NBC.

He was also invited to talk about Vietnamese ao dai but he could not receive the invitation because his working schedule was full.

Phuong’s ao dai were also performed for the overseas Vietnamese community in the US. This is a great motivation for him to continue designing ao dai in the traditional style.
