VietNamNet Bridge – Miss Universe Vietnam’s first runner-up, Vo Hoang Yen; first runner-up of Miss Vietnam Ethnics, Truong Thi May and top models Ngoc Quyen, Nhu Thao and Ngoc Thach will appear at “Time of Memories” show to tell stories about the Vietnamese ao dai in HCM City on August 26.


Vietnam’s leading models will perform four latest collections of ao dai by designer Dinh Van Tho, named “Time of Memories”, “Saigon Impromptu”, “Far East Pearl” and “Dewdrop”.

Designer Dinh Van Tho says he wants to introduce to the audiences a panorama of the development of Vietnamese ao dai in the modern life.

The “Time of Memories” collection features classic and luxurious designs of ao dai of the old time.

The “Saigon Impromptu” collection comprises reformed ao dai with short tails and sleeves and Chinese-style collars.

The “Far East” and “Dewdrop” collections include classic and reformed ao dai which are decorated by gems and unique accessories.

The show will take place on August 26 at ABC ao ai showroom in HCM City.

Some famous singers will join the show.
