Through the pages, Li relates her stories, experiences and impressions from her travels to Santorini, Athens, Istanbul and Rome, as well as Budapest, Warsaw, Jaipur and Kolkata, offering the perspective of a writer rather than a tourist.

She named the book for her impression of Rome, where she saw many couples kissing passionately on the streets.

Cecilia Piccioni, Italian Ambassador to Viet Nam, said she felt a connection with the author, not only because they're both women but also because they share the same passion for travelling to discover and understand the world. This passion helps Li's readers experience things they haven't seen before.

Di Li (whose real name is Nguyen Dieu Linh) has released many books, including crime thrillers, horror stories and humourous fiction. Many of these have been translated into English, French and Dutch.
