Vietnamese beauty wins runner-up title at Miss Earth 2023
Do Thi Lan Anh, the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Earth 2023 pageant, was honoured with the Miss Earth Water title, equal to a runner-up, in the grand final held on December 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Drita Ziri of Albania is crowned Miss Earth 2023 in the final night of the pageant which takes place on December 22 in the southern city.
Drita Ziri, 18, is an Albanian television host and a model. She is the first Albanian to win the Miss Earth title.
The young girl stands at 1.70 metres tall with body measurement of 85-62-99 cm. Earlier she won Miss Earth Albania 2023 and the second runner-up title at Miss Globe 2022.
The pageant also bestows several titles to other contestants, including the Yllana Aduana of the Philippines who was awarded Miss Earth Air, Vietnam’s Do Thi Lan Anh who was given Miss Earth Water, and Thailand’s Cora Bliault who was named Miss Earth Fire.
The Vietnamese beauty is also named as the winner of the Best Appearance award and Best National Costume sub-title.
Lan Anh, 26, is currently residing in the United States and stands at 1.71 metres tall with body measurements of 85-60-9 5cm. She left her hometown at the age of one for Europe before then moving to the US to settle down with her family. She was crowned Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 and represented the country at the Miss Earth 2023 pageant.

This marks the second time that the country has played host to this prestigious global pageant, following the 2010 edition.
