VietNamNet Bridge – The WBA Asia Boxing Title Match 2019 will be organized on January 20 in HCM City.

There will be six categories for men from Uzbekistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Russia, South Korea and the hosts.

Three Vietnamese boxers will take part in the event.

Sam Minh Phat will fight Sulis Barera (Indonesia) in the U49kg, Dinh Hong Quan will face Hwang Suk Joon (South Korea) in the U61kg and Nguyen Van Chung will face Oh Joon Kyu (South Korea) in the U64kg.

Other categories include the U56kg, U62kg and U65kg.

The event will be held at the District 7 Gymnasium and is being organized by the HCM City Boxing Federation, ther Korean Boxing Federation and Cocky Buffalo Promotion.
