
For the segment, the 85 contestants split into three groups: water, fire, and air. After being placed in the water group, Hoang Hanh participated in a Q&A followed by the swimsuit segment.

During the event the beauty shines whilst wearing an outfit by designer Nguyen Minh Tuan. The design draws inspiration from the blue sea.

The Vietnamese entrant enjoys a great reception thanks to her positive performance on stage.

The performance saw Hoang Hanh come first in the water group, her first gold medal during the Miss Earth 2019 pageant.

Following Hoang Hanh the representatives from Croatia and Guyana received silver and bronze medals.

In the national costume segment the Vietnamese contestant was awarded a bronze medal. This brings her total for the competition up to one gold medal and one bronze medal, rising to third position alongside the representative from Portugal in Miss Earth 2019’s rankings.

Hoang Hanh is expected to make the pageant’s Top 15 according to global beauty website Missosology. The grand final of Miss Earth 2019 is scheduled to take place on October 26 in the Philippines.

Hoang Hanh, 27, stands at 1.76 metres tall with measurements of 88-63-94. She has previous experience in pageants having finished as the first runner-up at Miss Asia Beauty 2017.
