Founded three years ago, the Sol Art Choir have won medals at the first Viet Nam International Choir Festival in Hoi An city, the World Choir Championship in South Korea as well as many other competitions around the country.
Anh said that she and her fellow choir members had felt extremely moved and proud of the fact that Vietnamese folk music had been received so positively.
The International Choir Festival was organised by INTERKULTUR website, set up by Gunter Titsch in 1999 and dedicated to bringing people of all nations, cultures and ideologies together in song.
Festival categories included Chamber Choirs - Vocal Ensembles, Children's and Youth Choirs, Sacred Choral Music and Folklore Music.
This year's festival attracted 40 choirs from 17 countries around the world.
"To have the Sol Art Choir join our festival is once again proof that music connects people across the confines of borders," Titsch said on INTERKULTUR website.
