The show, scheduled for mid-September, will take place at the Royal Palace of Milan in Italy, a historic venue that marks a pivotal moment in the designer's career.

The "Ceramics" collection, featuring 40 designs, draws inspiration from Nguyen Phan Chanh's silk paintings and traditional ceramic art. It offers a modern and creative interpretation of Vietnamese women from a century ago.

This collection marks a departure from Hoang's usual elegant style, embracing a more streetwear-inspired, edgy look.

Hoang expressed his excitement, stating: "My work often takes inspiration from Vietnamese artists and materials such as ceramics, culture, sculpture, and architecture. Every appearance is a chance to leave a unique imprint. Participating in one of the world's top fashion weeks, alongside renowned fashion houses with centuries of history, is a dream come true for me."

Recently, Hoang has been working remotely with international teams and faced challenges in obtaining permissions for the show at local historical sites.

He emphasizes his desire to be recognized for his skills rather than relying on gimmicks or connections, choosing to advance through diligent study and professional work.

"Announcing a fashion show in Italy, many might not know who I am or my background, so they will evaluate based on the creative quality," Hoang noted.

Born in 2000, Hoang graduated from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, Italy. In 2022, he participated in the Afro Autumn/Winter Fashion Week, with his collection featured in Vogue Italy.

In 2023, he gained attention with his "Sculpture" collection at Milan Fashion Week. Hoang has met Anna Wintour three times and presented his collection for one minute before the influential fashion editor.

In May, Hoang was named in Forbes' 30 Under 30 Asia list for The Arts, recognizing him as one of the most influential young artists in Asia.
