VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese designers Minh Hanh, Lan Huong, Cong Khanh and Quang Nhat have been chosen to present their latest silk and brocade designs at a fashion show in Italy on September 17.

Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han, Miss Sea 2010 Nguyen Thi Loan, Miss Photogenic 2002 Phuong Lien, and Roman will also be attending the event to model the designs.

The information was released by designer Minh Hanh at a press conference in Hanoi on September 9.

At the Italy event, the Vietnamese ambassador is scheduled to announce a cooperation plan on sustainable development of the fashion industry between Vietnam and Italy through the Italy-Vietnam Fashion Council.

The council is comprised of well-known designers of the two countries, represented by President Stephano Dominella of Gattinoni and Vietnamese designer Minh Hanh.

The show, part of the Vietnam Culture Week in Italy, is organised by the Vietnamese embassy in Italy, the Rome council, the Museum of Rome, Gattinoni fashion house, and the Italian embassy in Vietnam.
