The qualifying round of the Vietnamese version of American reality television modeling competition series, The Face has been kicked off in main cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho.

Three supermodel coaches of the competition will be pop star Ho Ngoc Ha;  Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2015 Tran Ngoc Lan Khue and Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, Pham Huong.

Ho Ngoc Ha who is popularly known as “Queen of entertainment” became a judge on the Vietnamese adaption of "The Voice" in 2012 and went on to judge in the Vietnamese X-Factor in 2014.

Lan Khue, 23, which is a German-major student of HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities, has been voted as one of the 2015 world's top 50 beautiful women by the Global Beauties website.

Model Lan Khue is one of the country’s most outstanding models. She had also won the third prize in the Asian Supermodel contest in 2012 in China and the Golden Award for Vietnam Model in 2013.

Lan Khue was represent the country at Miss World 2015.Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, Pham Huong represented Vietnam at the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant.

Pham Huong from the nothern city of Hai Phong, 24, crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2015.Huong graduated from the University of Commerce with a marketing and sales degree. She is now a teacher at the Chi Minh City College of Cultural and Art.

The inaugural series officially premiered on television in 2013, The Face is a modeling-themed reality television series that follows three supermodel coaches as they compete with each other to find 'the face' of major brand.

The qualifying rounds has been organized at Eden Plaza in Da Nang on April 20, at  the Employment Service Center in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on April 22, at the Times City  shopping centers with trade center in Hanoi on April 23 and will be at the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City on April 25.
