The trailer was created by Alice M Tran for the movie, which premiered in Viet Nam on July 18, 2014. The movie earned VND12 billion (nearly US$600,000) in just four days, which is a huge success for a Vietnamese movie.

At the Golden Trailer Awards, held recently at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, a trailer of Furious 7,entitledFamily,won the Best of Show award. It also claimed top honours in the best action category.

Universal Pictures (along with its division, Focus Features) was the most successful winner this year, taking home 15 awards. Warner Bros (with its sister company HBO) won 11 statues, while Disney and Lionsgate collected nine each. Fox won six golden statues.

American SniperandThe Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1tied for the films with the most Golden Trailer Awards, with each winning in five separate categories.

The Golden Trailer Awards have been held annually since 1999, to focus a little extra attention on the talented teams that put together the trailers, TV spots and even poster and viral campaigns for big-budget movies and TV shows. The awards have been announced in 78 different categories.
