VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam Fine Arts Exhibition, opened in Hanoi from December 9 - 23, are showcasing 409 pieces, created from 2011 to 2015, to give the public an overview on a period of the Vietnamese fine arts.
A di da phat (Amida Buddha) - a wooden carving by Nguyen Khac Han (Photos: organising board). The work was presented with the gold medal at the opening ceremony of the exhibition on December 9. The event is held every five years to review the development of Vietnam's fine arts.

Phien cho chieu (Afternoon market) - a sculpture by Pham Thai Binh
Tuoi teen (Teenagers) - a silk painting by Pham Hong Nhu
Nguoi o lang (Villagers) - a do paper painting by Tran Hoang Son
Di qua thoi gian (The passing of time) - a graphic painting by Tran Anh Phi. The organising board said the making of graphic paintings has made breakthroughs in terms of creativity and printing technique in the last five years.
To quoc goi (The Fatherland calls) - an oil painting by Le Thi Kim Bach
Nguoi ban (Friends) - an acrylic painting by Pham Tuan Dung
Ha Noi! Ha Noi - a lacquer painting by Tran Tuan Long
Loi ru (Lullaby) - a sculpture by Nguyen Van Chuoc. The organising board said sculpture has become closer to the daily life in recent years.
