Michel (No.1) will have two weeks working with the U23 team.

Michel and his mother returned to Vietnam on May 31. Before the trip, Michael contacted the VFF and got the federation’s permission to be on probation at the U23 team.

Michel Le was born in 1993 in France, in a family with four brothers. His parents are both Vietnamese. When his family was in Vietnam, they lived in Phan Thiet city. After giving birth to the first son, the family moved to the Philippines, then to France in 1992.

Michel began playing football when he was a boy. He showed his football playing talent very early and joined the young team of Metz FC at the age of ten. On May 29 he signed a one-year contract with Metz which won the right to play in the French second division this season after ranking second in the Division 3.

With a height of 1m85 and a weight of 79kg, Michel’s form is ideal for playing football. His strongest position is central defender.

He had the first training day with the team on June 2. Michel tried his best to join the team. He hoped that he would be called by Coach Hoang Van Phuc to attend the 27th SEA Games this year.

After the first practice day, Coach Phuc said: "I am very happy to have more overseas Vietnamese players returning home for probation in my team. I hope that Michel will demonstrate all of his abilities to devote to his homeland."

Michel will work with the U23 team for two weeks before returning to France to prepare for the new football season.
