Over the years, she has been a representative for the association help the poor (Féùdération du Cher du Secours Populaire Francais (FCSPE) in French), a French non-governmental organization operating in the field of humanitarian charity, which has been licensed to operate in Khanh Hoa province since 2006.

After being granted a license, Ms. Pierrette Lamorlette has cooperated with the Khanh Hoa Union of Friendship Organizations to perform many friendly exchange activities to enhance understanding and friendly solidarity and mobilize foreign non-governmental aid to help households in difficult circumstances.

Through the Provincial Museum, Ms. Pierrette Lamorlette has brought documents to France to introduce the culture, land and people of Vietnam to French friends. Thanks to Ms. Pierrette Lamorlette, French painter Claude Bovie has paid several visits to Vietnam and attended the Nha Trang Sea Festival and expressed love for the country of Vietnam. He had researched and painted two large portraits of Uncle Ho. It is special that they are joined from 70 small paintings representing the culture and country of Vietnam. One of the two portraits is displayed at Hon Chong Club House and the other was given to Ho Chi Minh Museum by Ms. Pierrette.

Through friendship exchange activities of Ms. Pierrette Lamorlette, the image, culture and people of Vietnam have been introduced to French friends, contributing to making our international friends more knowledgeable about Vietnam and more supportive of Vietnam.

Over the past six years, PCSPE and her have made efforts to mobilize and conduct charitable activities in support of Khanh Hoa people in difficult circumstances.

Every year, she spends one or two months returning to France to collect for the charitable activities in Vietnam.

PCSPE and Ms. Pierrette have supported scholarships, books for students from poor families; Agent Orange victims, children with disabilities; and IT equipment for schools, upgraded schools, presented Tet gifts for families in difficult circumstance and organized charitable meals to patients in hospitals.

When their own fund faced difficulties, Ms. Pierrette and her husband extracted their retirement pension to contribute to the fund. From 2006 -2010, PCSPE and Ms. Pierrette had assisted almost VND1.5 billion to charitable activities.

From the depths of her heart, she has always looked toward the homeland and wanted to help the homeland reduce difficulty with specific and practical activities.
