A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked between t he University of Economics and Business under the Vietnam National University-Hanoi (VNU) and Germany’s Applied Language Institute at a ceremony in Hanoi on August 5.
Under the MoU, the two agencies will share researching and teaching methods, design joint research projects, conduct lecturer and student exchanges and cooperate in other training activities.
In his speech at the event, Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business Nguyen Hong Son highlighted the significance of the MoU, saying it lays an important foundation for close cooperation between the two sides in the future.
Towards becoming one of the leading universities operating in research in Asia by 2030, the university is seeking connections with partners worldwide to enhance its lecturers’ capacity in research, teaching and management and to improve the studies of students, Son stressed.
He added that through cooperation programmes with its partners, the university hopes to learn from the experience of economic experts and business managers.
Representatives from the two sides pledged to maintain their comprehensive cooperation based on the spirit of the MoU.
