JELA's 20-minute assessment for candidates from Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Viet Nam consist of 40 questions related to conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.

On the over average score section (over 21 marks), Singapore is in top place with 95 per cent of test takers, followed by the Philippines with 91 per cent.

Malaysia is in third place followed by Viet Nam and Indonesia.

The JELA system will also show how a jobseeker has performed compared to other test takers, separated, for instance, by categories like all test takers from Viet Nam, all test takers from Viet Nam with the same specialisations, and all test takers with the same educational backgrounds.

More than 615,000 jobseekers in the five countries have so far taken the tests.

JobStreet.com is a leading jobs site in Southeast Asia with a presence in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Japan, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
