Nguyen Hoang Trung in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi is a well-known name among French Bull breeders for owning beautiful Bulldogs. After months doing research on the world’s famous websites about dogs, Trung decided to buy a French Bull from Belarus for VND200 million.

“In order to find good dogs, you need to understand the three-generation family records of father and mother dogs. I am more careful by checking information about Kamelot in the list of FCI,” Trung said.

He said in the last 10 years of breeding French Bulls, this is the seventh time he had bought a dog from Europe and this is one of his three favorite dogs, after CR7 and Messi were bought from Russia two years ago for VND300 million each. Thanks to good breeds, CR7 and Messi made Trung become famous among Bull pet players in Hanoi.

French Bulls have many colors, such as black-white and black, but most of them are red-yellow. They have relatively small bodies, just 10-14 kilograms and are 30 centimeters at maximum. The fur is short, 1-1.5 cm and it is very soft. French Bulls also have a very good character. They are lively and agile, and therefore, favored by Vietnamese youth.

Though they are popular, the price of breeders is high, up to $18-25 million, or even VND35 million, if they have family records, because it is difficult to reproduce.

In early October, Le Dai in Giang Vo, Hanoi, lost VND180 million because the Bull dog he bought from Europe died because of heat stroke.

The sender designed a timetable so that the aircraft arrived in Vietnam at night to avoid the heat. However, because of the delay, the aircraft landed in the Noi Bai Airport at noon, when the temperature was at 34oC. The dog was taken to hospital, but it could not be saved.

In general, it is very costly to breed pet dogs. The owners of dogs have to ensure a suitable living environment for the dogs. Trung confirmed that the transport of Kamelot to Vietnam was the most worrying thing. After paying VND150 million to the owner, he had to spend VND70 million in tax and transportation costs.
