The first-ever Vietnamese male model contest was officially launched in Vietnam on October 16, with the aim of seeking Vietnamese representatives to compete in international contests next year.

Mister Manhunt International 2017 Truong Ngoc Tinh is head of the organizing board.

 Mister International 2018 Seung Hwan Lee and Mister Global 2017 Pedro Henrique will judge the contest.

The contest will be held in the form of a reality show, all events will be live broadcasted on its Facebook fanpage and Youtube channel. Viewers will then have the chance to vote for their favourite contestants on those channels.

The winner will be awarded VND500 million and represent Vietnam to compete at Manhunt International 2019.

The two runners-up will receive VND200 million and VND100 million, they will vie for Mister International, Mister Global 2019.

Contestants must be between 18 and 30 years-old and be above 1.75 meters tall.

The preliminary round is set to get underway in the northern region on December 22 and in the southern region on December 29.

The grand finale will take place in Vung Tau City.
