Most of the customers selected king crabs. The price for a kilo of king crabs is VND4.3 million. A crab averages 3 kg in weight is enough for a meal for three. 

 

 

 

Shark fin soup was priced VND1.5 million ($70)/bowl.

 

 

 

 

A tray of three king crab soup was priced at VND3.6 million ($180). 

 

 

 

In HCM City, most luxury restaurants were also fully booked on the day.

 

 

 

On the the evening of March 7, Khai Silk restaurant offered a special seafood buffet for women. 

 

 

The menu included lobster, salmon, Japanese octopus, and seven kinds of imported oysters.

 

 

 

There were also imported beef and lamb. The price for one person was VND700,000 ($35)/person, two to three times higher than average.
