VietNamNet Bridge - Pham Anh Thu, who won the bronze prize at Vietnam Supermodel 2010, finished 5th at the first Super Model of Asian Pacific 2011 contest in Thailand.

Born in HCM City, Thu is an exclusive model of Venus Modeling Company. She is 1.75m tall and has a body measurement of 86-60-90.

“I’m very surprised to be named in the top five. I’m very happy because my effort has been repaid” Thu said.

The top five includes models from Russia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Bunga Jelitha from Indonesia won the first prize. A Thai model ranked second. A Russian model ranked third. Vietnam’s Pham Anh Thu ranked five after an Indonesian model. The Vietnamese model also won the Best Charming title.

Another Vietnamese model, Kim Dung, entered the top 15.

The Super Model of Asian Pacific 2011attracts models from 30 countries in the region. This is the first competition of its kind.

At the same time, Nguyen Tran Huyen My, 16, from Hanoi won Most Photogenic Award at the Asian Super Model 2011 contest in China in early September. My, 1.75m tall, is a trainee at Venus.

The Asian Supermodel contest, which is organized by the Chinese Fashion Designers Association in collaboration with Guangxi Television, gathered 36 beauties from 13 Asian countries this year.
