Mau Thuy, the winner of the 4th season of Vietnam’s Next Top Model (VNTM) 2013, has gained  several fashion deals in the U.S.

Having signed a modeling contract with New York-based Wilhelmina Models, the 24-year-old has strutted the catwalk at a Carlisle Collections show, and joined fashion campaigns for Jamesallen jewelry brand and Shu Uemura cosmetics brand. She recently joined a campaign for Maybelline New York which also featured popular Victoria’s Secret supermodel Gigi Hadid.

BeU Models, which trained and sent Thuy to the U.S., said in a statement that the company is planning to develop and promote winners of the 5th and 6th seasons of VNTM overseas, including Quang Hung, Nguyen Oanh and Huong Ly.

Last week the organizers of VNTM 2016 unveiled the best 24 male and female models to compete at this year’s contest which will begin from July 17. What makes this year’s program special is all contestants are welcomed despite their height. The winner will get a VND2 billion prize, including signing a two-year contract with BeU Model and a one-year contract with Ivy Moda worth VND500 million, appearing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam magazine and showing up as the main model at the opening of the Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2016 in Hanoi in November.
