Ngoc Tinh was named the first runner up of Mister Universal Ambassador 2016 during the pageant’s final held at the Suroboyo Carnival Park in Indonesia. Willan Pagayon from the Philippines hosted the ceremony.

Aleksa Gavrilovic from Serbia was crowned at the pageant, followed by Truong Ngoc Tinh from Vietnam (first runner-up), Becerra Cerna from Peru, Alejandro Martinez from the Dominican Republic and Andrea Biondo from the Philippines.
