VietNamNet Bridge - Several Vietnamese artists managed to sell their works at an exhibition held at Singapore’s Black Earth Museum last month.

“A touch of Vietnam 2” showcased eight modern artists who use different styles, media, and techniques.

Hua Thanh Binh and Nguyen Thi Bao Ngoc sold five works each while Uyen Huy, Truong Lo, Nguyen Minh, Nguyen Dung An Hoa, Nguyen Dao Truong Nghi, and Duong Dinh Hien sold a couple each.

The works fetched from US$1,525 to $5,340.

The exhibition evoked strong interest especially after The Straits Times newspaper ran a story about it, according to the organizer, Vietnamese-Singaporean Thanh Kieu Moller.

“I wish more Vietnamese artists exhibit their works at the Black Earth Museum and that the museum will become a familiar address for Vietnamese painters in Singapore,” she added.
