The photo Silence by Nguyễn Khánh Vũ Khoa ranks the 6th in the list of ‘10 Best Work Prize – Photo’.

According to the photographer, the photo was capture in last winter in Tía Stream – a fairytale-like upstream flow pouring into Tuyền Lâm Lake in Lâm Đồng Province. Appearing in the photo is a boatman who often transports passengers for sightseeing on the lake. The photo captures a frozen moment in time, depicting a serene scene.

“That morning, I accidentally captured that moment. I named the photo ‘Slience’ because of the peaceful and exquisite beauty of the lake scene when viewed from above, with the slender branches seemingly growing on the water's surface," he said.

The list of Best Work Prize also includes the photo Hunting Together by Vietnamese photographer Phạm Huy Trung.

The photo depicting a female whale and her calf hunt their food was ranked 7th in the list.

“It’s the Bryde's whales hunting in the Đề Gi Bay in the Central of Việt Nam, in an early morning. This is one of the rare appearances of this whale species in the area and it has fascinated those who have the chance to witness," said Trung.
