VietNamNet Bridge – A number of Vietnamese photographers have won grand prizes at international photography competitions in India and Turkey, reported Dan Tri.

At the international photo contest Victoria 2016 organized by Belghoria Photolovers (India), photographer Nguyen Duy Tuong won 7 awards, including two gold medals presented by the International Federation of Photographers to the photo "Terraces No1" and "Pose", two silver medals and two bronze medals of the International Union of Photographers for "Close friends No2" and "Parachute Festival at Tu Le No1" and a Victoria silver medal for "Old age No5".

The contest attracted photographers from 46 countries in the categories: free topic for color, black and white photos, and photos with the themes of nature, travel, and streets.

At the same time, many photos of Vietnamese authors won big prizes at the sixth international photo contest held by Arbella Markana Durum G.da Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S (Turky).

"Winter Morning" by Nguyen Trong Nghia, which won a gold medal.

The competition attracted 754 authors around the world, with 5,805 entries.

In this contest, the photo "Winter Morning" by Vietnam’s Nguyen Trong Nghia won the FIAP gold medal (International Federation of Photographic Art). The photo "Soybean Processing" by Tran Van Tuy won the FIAP gold medal.

Photographer Nguyen Si Dung won a FIAP 3 Silver medal while Le Chau Dao and Truong Huu Hung won the gold and bronze GPU medals, presented by the Global Union of Photographers.

Previously, in April 2016, many photographers of Vietnam were honored at the Photo Club Emerald competition, organized by the Republic of Ireland. The prize-winning works include "Weaving fishing nets" by Do Hieu Liem, "Morning on the lake of Tuyen Lam" by Dao Tien Dat and "Poor Children" by Tran Phong.
